Official cover art for Inferno by Peruzzi, Zlatan and Shoday

Peruzzi Gives “Inferno” With Zlatan and Shoday an October 29 Date, Seven Years After “Bayi Bayi”

Peruzzi has put a date on “Inferno,” his song with Zlatan and Shoday: Thursday, October 29. “You Asked For It, SEE YOU ON THE 29TH OF OCTOBER!” he posted at 8:40 pm on Monday, with the cover art and the hashtag #INFERNO.

Shoday quoted it two minutes later with the song’s title and nothing else, and Peruzzi followed with a presave link on ONErpm at 8:48 pm.

The date ends a week the three spent getting people to ask for it. Peruzzi posted the first clip at 11:49 pm on October 20, a studio video that opens on a title card reading “Peruzzi x Shoday x Zlatan,” under the caption “‘INFERNO’ When???” Two days later came a minute-long video of him singing it to a room full of friends, captioned “Sang ‘INFERNO’ To The Mandem 🐼 Soon Drop! 💨💙” A third clip, tagging Zlatan and Shoday, went up on the afternoon of October 23. That evening he posted “November?? Dey Play 😂🐼.”

Zlatan’s part on X was a threat. “I GO LEAK THIS SONG O,” he posted at 5:37 pm on October 23. Peruzzi spent Monday afternoon on the subject matter, writing “This Song Is About Love and Not Fornication Pls & Pls 😩” at 4:49 pm, a few hours before the date went up.

None of the three has named a producer yet. The cover carries the logo of Sensei Musik Lab, and the presave page still reads “Coming Soon.”

Peruzzi and Zlatan have run this route before. In April 2019, The NATIVE noted that cuts of “Bayi Bayi” had already “made rounds on social media after the duo shared a clip from their recording session at the DMW studio,” before the official single, produced by Northboi, arrived. “Inferno” follows the same path, with Shoday as the third voice.

In February, Shoday unveiled the tracklist for his debut album, Hybrid, with Kizz Daniel and FOLA among the guests. On Monday he also promised “New Music every week till ‘White Lambo.'”

The presave is live now, and the song is due Thursday.
