Count the songs with Asake on them and the shape of Nigeria’s streaming year is plain. He is on four of the five most-streamed songs in the country across the first three quarters of 2026, according to a year-to-date tally TurnTable Charts posted this evening, and on eight of the top 20.
The one at the top is shared. Wizkid and Asake’s “Jogodo” leads with 74.66 million streams, more than 16 million clear of anything else.

— TurnTable Charts (@TurntableCharts) October 28, 2026
1. @wizkidayo, @asakemusik – “Jogodo” – 74.66M
2. @asakemusik – “Gratitude” – 58.03M
Back in May, “Jogodo” was the song that carried Wizkid to the top of Nigeria’s first-quarter artist ranking. Six months on, nothing has caught it.
The next three Asake songs all come from M$NEY, his May 1 album. “Gratitude” is second with 58.03 million, the same song that went back into the Official Nigeria Top 100’s top ten today for a 21st week, more than any song this year. “Forgiveness” follows at 54.92 million, and “WORSHIP,” his song with DJ Snake, sits fifth at 49.63 million.
FOLA is the only other artist in the top six. “you” is fourth with 52.44 million and “caricature” sixth with 49.25 million, less than 400,000 streams behind “WORSHIP.”
Further down, Asake turns up again on Wizkid’s “Turbulence” at No. 9, his own “MCBH” at No. 17, “Alaye” at No. 19 and Blaqbonez’s “CHANEL” at No. 20. Mavo has four songs in the 20, from “Tumo Weto” at No. 7 to his credits on “MONEY CONSTANT” and CKay’s “BODY (Danz).”
The tally runs from January to the end of September. October, November and December are still to be counted.
