Asake’s M$NEY Ties Lungu Boy for Nigeria’s Longest Album No. 1

Asake just tied himself.

For the tracking week of August 28 through September 3, M$NEY spent another week at No. 1 on the Official Top 100 Albums Chart in Nigeria. That is week 15 at the summit, matching the mark Lungu Boy set with its own 15-week run. This reign is non-consecutive. M$NEY had already slipped and climbed back before this frame printed.

The chart credits about 10.8 million on-demand streams, or roughly 7,200 album units, for that week.

Victony’s STARLIFE sits at No. 2 with about 4,600 units. Davido’s Oriadé is No. 3 near 4,400. Ayra Starr’s Starrgirl holds No. 4 around 3,600.

M$NEY landed on YBNL Nation / EMPIRE as the Lagos star’s next full set after Lungu Boy, and the Live in London Spotify cut still shares the same albums list while the studio project owns the crown again. As reported earlier when the album became his longest stay on Billboard’s World Albums chart, the project keeps stacking different longevity marks.

The Official albums chart still has M$NEY at No. 1.
