After a Visualizer and an All Points East Clip, “Ms Paper” Gets Its Official Video

Ayra Starr’s official video for “Ms. Paper” with Theodora premiered on her AyraStarrVEVO channel at 4 p.m. WAT on Oct 28, right on the slot she had announced. The upload credits the copyright to Mavin Global Holdings Ltd, under exclusive license to Republic Records.

Ayra set the slot, 11 a.m. ET and 4 p.m. WAT, in an X post on Oct 23 that named Theodora and carried a teaser clip. She posted a second teaser clip on Oct 26, two days out. The song is track eight on Starrgirl, the 16-track album she released through Mavin Records and Republic Records on Aug 14.

“Ms. Paper” has not been waiting without footage. The visualizer went up on Ayra’s channel when Starrgirl came out, and on Sept 8 she added a live version with Theodora from All Points East 2026. That makes the new video the song’s third on the channel, and the first billed as the official video.

Produced by The Elements, the record switches between English and French, and Theodora opens the hook with “Moi, c’est Miss Kitoko ou Miss Paper,” a title that doubles as her X name. Ayra’s answer, “Turn me on like gasolina, I make money, bae, I’ll call you later,” is the line the English half of the hook hangs on.

Ayra was born in Cotonou, grew up between there and Lagos, and speaks French. Part of the Starrgirl rollout happened in Paris, and Theodora, a French-Congolese singer, is the album’s one guest verse in that language. The Starrgirl World Tour peaks in Paris and Brussels, with the 6,300-capacity Zénith on Jan 24 and the 8,400-capacity Forest National. The run opens Jan 20 in Cologne and closes Apr 14 in San Francisco. General sale opened Oct 16 through Live Nation.
