Ayra Starr is giving “Ms Paper,” her Starrgirl duet with Theodora, a full video, and it arrives on Wednesday, Oct 28 at 4 p.m. WAT.
She posted the date on X on Friday evening with a short teaser clip, writing “Ms Paper ft @theodorabossy official video Wednesday 11am ET/4pm WAT.” The song sits at track eight on Starrgirl, the 16-track album she released on Aug 14 through Mavin Records and Republic Records. That album already carries singles “Where Do We Go” and “Tornado,” plus guest turns from Wizkid, Rema, ZAYN and Leon Thomas, so the video goes to the album’s one French-language guest.
Produced by The Elements, “Ms Paper” is a money-and-flirting party record that switches between English and French. Theodora opens the hook with “Moi, c’est Miss Kitoko ou Miss Paper,” and Ayra answers with the line that sticks: “Turn me on like gasolina, I make money, bae, I’ll call you later.” Theodora’s pre-chorus leans on her Congolese side (“Congolaise genre Yohji Yamamoto”), and gives the record a Congolese-French flavour next to the Afropop around it on the album.
Premiere time is 11 a.m. ET, which is 4 p.m. across Nigeria.
