FOLA’s 9 has now topped Spotify Nigeria’s Weekly Top Albums chart for three straight weeks, per WETALKSTATS, which posted the chart for the week ending October 29 this afternoon.
🚨 FOLA’s “9” spends a third consecutive week at #1 on Spotify Nigeria Weekly Top Albums Chart. 🇳🇬📈

— Asake’s “M$NEY” returns to #3.
— Tml Vibez’s “A Street Kid’s Diary (Disk 2)” returns to #5.
Nobody has taken the top spot from it yet. Seyi Vibez’s SWAGUU was right behind at No. 2 a week ago, in the Top 10 we reported on October 23, and Blaqbonez came in at No. 3 that week off 5.8 million first-week streams. Neither moved FOLA. Fireboy DML’s ZUKO! climbed to a new peak of No. 5 on that list, the spot Tml Vibez holds now.
Two familiar titles came back up the list. Asake’s M$NEY returned to No. 3, after sitting at No. 4 on the chart AlbumTalks posted a week ago. Tml Vibez’s A Street Kid’s Diary (Disk 2) returned to No. 5.
The run comes in the same week FOLA passed 1 billion Spotify streams as a lead artist. It also comes a day after Seyi Vibez took No. 1 back from 9 on TurnTable’s albums chart, a chart that counts more than one platform. On Spotify alone, 9 is still ahead.
A note on the source. Spotify’s weekly albums chart for Nigeria isn’t carried by kworb, the tracker we normally check against, so these placings come from WETALKSTATS’ post and haven’t been confirmed against Spotify’s own chart page. We’ll update this story if the official chart shows anything different.
