Black Sherif has dropped Sun Sherif, a six-track EP out now via Blacko Management / EMPIRE. The project runs about 15 minutes and follows his 2025 album Iron Boy.
The tracklist keeps the guest list short. Expresso, Run Around, Jolie and Frontline are solo cuts. Forever brings on AratheJay. Love Again closes with Trinidad’s Full Blown. Producers on the project include Phillip Nyanor (Expresso), Westen (Forever), and Joker Nharnah across Run Around, Jolie, Frontline and Love Again.
In a statement around the release, Black Sherif framed the EP around intimacy and self-discovery. “Almost all of the necessary affections that I have needed and have gotten came from afar, physically and figuratively,” he said. “As a result, I have a tough time receiving and keeping love or better said, intimacy, even though I crave it intensely… With this project, I have allowed you a glimpse of it.”
Sun Sherif sits after a heavy run: the Sermon breakthrough era, 2022’s The Villain I Never Was, and Iron Boy, which took Album/EP of the Year at the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards alongside his Artiste of the Year win. The new EP is compact, light on features, and already live on major platforms including Apple Music and Audiomack.
