DJ Tunez and Wizkid are joining forces again, and the Starboy faithful have a date to circle on the calendar.
On April 24, DJ Tunez took to social media to make the announcement official, writing “NEW MUSIC NEXT MONTH! STATE OF MIND! BIG WIZ!” The post set off an immediate wave of excitement across Nigerian music Twitter, effectively kicking off the countdown to what is shaping up to be one of the more anticipated releases of May 2026.
The single is scheduled to arrive on May 15.
Word of a project under the title State of Mind had already been making the rounds before the announcement, howbeit, not confirmed. With snippets and speculation building quietly among fans in the weeks prior. DJ Tunez’s confirmation gave those rumors a solid landing point. These two have worked together for a decade ad their chemistry has never been in denial.
