The pre-album run just got a hard stop. Fireboy DML called Imali the last single before ZUKO!, and the album page now carries an October 16 street date.
That is his fifth studio album.
After Adedamola in 2024, he has been building the next chapter in public. CLAAT! with Jamaica’s Masicka is already out. Late Monday night brought Imali with South Africa’s Jazzwrld and Thukuthela. On X he wrote “LAST SINGLE BEFORE ZUKO!” and asked fans to see him through the era. The album is listed as a 13-song project from YBNL Nation and EMPIRE.
Imali is the money word in Zulu and Xhosa, and the feature lane leans south.
Fireboy’s biggest global stretch still sits on Peru and the Playboy years. Adedamola pulled him back toward the melodic home lane after that run. ZUKO! is the next full album, with two named guest records already in the clear.
