Gunna and Burna Boy’s “wgft” Crosses 200 Million Streams on Spotify

Gunna and Burna Boy’s collaborative record “wgft” has surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify, adding another landmark figure to what has been a strong run for the track since its release.

“wgft,” appeared as the third and final single from Gunna’s sixth studio album The Last Wun, released on August 7, 2025. The song pairs Gunna’s melodic Atlanta trap with Burna Boy’s Afro-fusion sensibility, built on a piano-driven instrumental from producer Turbo, with additional production from Shottie.

For Burna Boy, the milestone is his 13th song to cross 200 million streams on Spotify, a number that reflects just how deep his catalogue runs at this level. He closed 2025 as the most streamed African artist on the platform with nearly 2 billion streams across the year, and “wgft” is another entry in a long line of records that have contributed to that dominance.

The track later received an official remix featuring Chris Brown, released in January 2026, extending its commercial life well into the new year. Either way, the original clearly did not need much help finding its audience.
