Today that room gets a Clean Bandit address. “Company,” billed with Chlöe on CB X, is out now, the UK group’s second single on their own imprint after the Biig Piig-assisted “I Don’t Wanna Hurt You.”
It is a companionship record.
Grace Chatto has talked up a summery, happy chord progression; Chlöe framed the lyric around not wanting to be alone. Omah Lay’s path into the song runs longer than a Friday drop. He first linked with Jack Patterson in 2022, cut the idea at Patterson’s house, and the three have been circling the release for about five years. That patience fits the same international stretch that put him on Davido’s Grammy-nominated “With You” and kept Clarity of Mind in motion at home.
