The SWAGUU calendar just got a U.S. chart stamp.
On the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart dated September 12, Seyi Vibez’s “Back 2 U” debuts at No. 10. It is a NEW entry on the Luminate-powered ranking, arriving while the Ijebu street-pop star’s next album is already listed as a pre-release for September 18 on Apple Music under NSNV Inc / EMPIRE. Another SWAGUU cut, “GTA,” sits at No. 13 on the same list after peaking at No. 7.
“Back 2 U” went wide on August 28. Seyi posted “B2U out now” the same day, and the EMPIRE smartlink still points listeners to the official audio and video. The track runs about 2:42. It sits mid-album on the SWAGUU pre-add page (track 8), with “GTA” early in the sequence (track 2). The song keeps the melodic street-pop lane his audience knows: a short hook machine built for chorus replay.
That chart week lands inside a loud rollout week at home and abroad. Clips from a New York SWAGUU listening session circulated today as fans got early ears on the project. Olamide publicly flagged the street date weeks ago: “Seyi Vibez is dropping ‘SWAGUU’ album on September 18, 2026.” Apple Music mirrors that date with a 14-song pre-release listing.
Eight days out, the U.S. Afrobeats Top 10 debut is the cleanest American receipt yet for this campaign. September 18 is when the full album has to match it.
Listen to “Back 2 U” and pre-save SWAGUU.
