Nigeria has been parking SWAGUU’s daily No. 1 on “Ilome,” the prayer-chorus cut with the Ogene open and the Joromi chant. Today the official video for that lead is out.
The track opens on Ogene call-and-response before the Pidgin thesis lands: do your best and leave the rest. The hook stacks Osẹmẹ / Ilomẹ with “Joromi ojoro mi jo,” then the one-and-only tag, so the prayer is the part that travels on first listen. Balogun keeps the bounce midtempo and chant-heavy. The brain-over-jazz jab sits in the verse, then the bridge flips into gold, silver, and Sapẹlé water celebration.
On Spotify Nigeria’s daily songs chart, “Ilome” is through a second day at No. 1 while the album’s only guest feature sits on the Quavo title track.
