Quavo Closes SWAGUU as Seyi Vibez Takes Nigeria’s Album Chart

The last song on SWAGUU carries a Migos name. Quavo rides the title track that closes the new Seyi Vibez album, the only feature on a 14-song run that also lists Burna Boy as executive producer.

That is the chapter arriving today.

By this morning the project was alone at No. 1 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Albums chart, sitting above Asake’s M$NEY Live in London set and the studio M$NEY album. The street date barely cleared midnight before the album owned the board the pre-singles had already warmed, including GTA’s recent Top Songs reign.

Ikorodu-raised street-pop still sits under the polish. The Quavo handoff and Burna Boy credit stretch the room without wiping the Adura and Fuji DNA that made Chance (Na Ham) and the Kingdom Come run feel local first.

SWAGUU is the next full body of work after Fuji Moto, and the chart is already treating it like one.
