Victony’s “SLICK” has locked an eighth straight week at No. 1 on the Official Afrobeats Chart in the UK. The chart dated September 6–12, 2026 keeps the Encore Recordings single on top after it first crowned the list on July 25.
That run makes “SLICK” one of the stickiest Afrobeats leaders of the summer in Britain. Official Charts Company tallies the ranking from sales and streams across each seven-day window, and Victony has not left the summit since debut week.
“Heaven Baby” by Ayra Starr featuring ZAYN holds at No. 2 in its third week on the chart. Davido, Mayorkun and FOLA’s “B4 B4” sits at No. 3, now in a fifth week on the list after peaking at No. 2.
The stay also deepens Victony’s UK Afrobeats ledger. “SLICK” is his second No. 1 on the chart, and the eight-week hold lands while STARLIFE-era cuts still circulate around the same ranking — “FRESH” is still on the chart at No. 16 in its 10th week.
Mauvais Djo’s “Pile” is No. 4. Asake’s “Gratitude” is No. 5. New entries this week include Blaqbonez’s “BIG PERFORMER” at No. 17 and Seyi Vibez’s “Back 2 U” at No. 20, but neither dents the top of the pile Victony still owns.
Eight weeks at No. 1 is the kind of UK Afrobeats stretch that usually marks a record as more than a debut spike. “SLICK” is still collecting them.
