Britain finally has a weekly R&B chart of its own.
The Official Charts Company, working with Everything R&B, published the first Official R&B UK Chart this week. It is a Top 20 for current British R&B singles, ranked on combined UK sales and streams, and limited to tracks released in the past year. On the opening list, kwn takes No. 1 with “Good Girl” and also sits at No. 3 with “Risk It All,” while FLO holds No. 2 with “Leak It.”
Wizkid is on two of the first Top 10s.
Jorja Smith’s “Alive,” featuring Wizkid, enters at No. 4. Odeal’s “Nights In The Sun” with Wizkid lands at No. 8. Both records are British-led; Starboy is the African feature threading the inaugural top tier.
The list is a British R&B weekly. Landing twice in week one still puts Wizkid inside that new Top 10 from the jump. Full table: Official R&B UK Chart.
