Wizkid has added a new heavyweight to his touring team. The Afrobeats superstar has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for live music and touring representation across North America, with agents Zack Borson and Joseph Harris leading the relationship at the agency.
The deal is territory-specific. Wizkid will continue to work with United Talent Agency (UTA) for worldwide touring outside North America, which means his global live business is now split between two of the biggest agencies in entertainment.
The timing makes sense. North America has become one of the most important markets for Afrobeats live music, and Wizkid has been a central figure in that rise. He has sold out major venues across the US and Canada and helped prove that Nigerian artists can fill arenas on that side of the Atlantic. Bringing CAA on board for the region gives his team another powerful set of relationships with promoters, venues and festival bookers as demand keeps growing.
For fans, the move points to a busy live schedule ahead. Wizkid has not announced dates tied to the new agency arrangement, but a deal like this usually signals serious touring plans for the North American market.
The signing also adds to a wider pattern of Afrobeats acts restructuring their business teams as their global audience expands. Wizkid, whose career has run from Lagos to the top of international charts and stadium stages, continues to build a touring operation that matches the scale of his reach.
