Burna Boy has once again extended his record as the most certified Nigerian artist in France, now boasting 16 SNEP certifications across his catalogue.
The latest additions push his tally to an unmatched figure among Nigerian acts, spanning diamond, platinum, and gold certifications from France’s official music body. His diamond-certified songs include “Jerusalema,” “On The Low,” “Be Honest,” “Last Last,” and “WE PRAY,” his collaboration with Coldplay. The platinum tier covers “Location,” “Gbona,” “Ye,” “Donne-moi L’accord” with Dadju, “City Boys,” and “Collateral Damage.” Gold certifications round out the list with “Alone,” “For My Hand,” “Anybody,” “It’s Plenty,” and now, “4 Kampé II.”
On April 18, 2025, Burna Boy also made history as the first African artist to sell out the 80,000-capacity Stade de France, and in 2024, he became the first artist to grace the cover of Billboard France Magazine.
As far as the French Music Market goes, Burna Boy is a hit commodity.
