October 23 was a busy day to be climbing. Mavo’s “Goyard” and three new Shallipopi songs all arrived on Spotify Nigeria’s daily Top Songs chart that day, and the biggest move on the list still went to a song Olamide put out on Tuesday.
“Burukutu” rose 151 places to No. 47, the largest gain on the chart, WETALKSTATS reported. Kworb, the chart tracker, hasn’t confirmed the numbers yet.

It’s the first look at how his next album is landing. “Burukutu” is the lead single from Time and Space, which he dated for Nov. 16 on the same evening the TG Omori-directed video went up. Before it, his only solo single this year was “Rock Me Gentle” in May, and most of his 2026 went into guest verses for other people. The song gives Wizkid a line in its roll call, “Eyan Wizzy 1 on 1, wo’n de be,” with Rotimi RudeBoi and Ezkeys named right after him.
Reaching the top 50 inside its first week is a decent start for a lead single.
Time and Space is out Nov. 16, four months before Olamide headlines The O2 in London on March 25, 2027.
Further down the same chart, 6UFF and ODUMODUBLVCK’s “SALT” hit a new peak at No. 54 with 76,700 streams, WETALKSTATS reported. Kworb hasn’t confirmed that figure yet either.
