Shallipopi didn’t tell anyone which song to play. WayWard, a surprise three-track EP, came out in the first minutes of October 23 with no lead single picked out, and by the end of the day Nigerian listeners had made the choice for him.
“.com” entered Spotify Nigeria’s daily Top Songs chart at No. 44 with 82,800 streams, according to WETALKSTATS. The other two songs landed much further down, with “OGO” at No. 102 and “UP (Transovania)” at No. 159. Kworb, the chart tracker, hasn’t confirmed the numbers yet.
Shallipopi’s “.com” just hit #44 on the Spotify Nigeria Daily chart with 82.8K streams.

#102. OGO 🆕
#159. UP (Transovania) 🆕
That’s a wide gap for three songs released together, and the opener took it.
He knows how to build up a following. Shallipopi passed 1 billion Spotify streams in July, and WayWard arrived with no warning at all.
“OGO,” Yoruba for glory, closes the EP.
