FOLA’s “9” moved 16,100 units in Nigeria to top TurnTable’s Top Albums chart, its first week at No. 1. Seyi Vibez’s “Swaguu” took No. 2 with 14,010, about 2,100 units back.
Nobody else came close. BNXN’s “Still In Charge” EP took No. 3 with 5,220 units, just 30 ahead of Asake’s “M$NEY” at 5,190. Tml Vibez’s “A Street Kid’s Diary (Disk 2)” was fifth with 3,700, and Davido’s “Oriadé” sixth with 2,400.
FOLA has been here before this month. “9” opened with all 14 tracks inside Apple Music Nigeria’s Top 100 on release morning and went on to No. 1 on the platform’s albums chart.
FOLA has also had “miss u ii (nriri)” at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 this month, his first solo chart-topper.
TurnTable posted the chart this evening. Its next albums chart will show whether “Swaguu” closes the 2,100-unit gap.
