Asake Announces “In God We Trust Tour” for M$NEY Album, With Uncle Waffles as Special Guest

Asake is taking M$NEY to the world.

The Nigerian superstar has announced dates for his “In God We Trust Tour,” with Swazi artist and DJ Uncle Waffles joining as special guest on select dates. The 13-date trek supports his recently released fourth studio album, M$NEY, which dropped on May 1. The world tour hits arenas across North America and Europe, kicking off with a headlining set at Afro Nation in Portimão, Portugal, on July 4, before wrapping at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.

The full list of venues reads as follows: Accor Arena in Paris (20,300 capacity), The O2 Arena in London (20,000), Scotiabank Arena in Toronto (19,800), Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia (19,300), Barclays Center in Brooklyn (19,000), Toyota Center in Houston (19,000), State Farm Arena in Atlanta (16,800), Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago (10,300), Place Bell in Laval (10,172), Tsongas Center in Lowell (7,800), Greek Theatre in Los Angeles (5,900), and James L. Knight Center in Miami (4,600 to 5,000), in addition to the Afro Nation Portimão headline slot.

The North American leg kicks off on August 20 in Chicago at Credit Union 1 Arena, before wrapping at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on September 6. After completing that run, Asake has European dates in October, with the tour closing on October 24 in Paris.

The announcement arrives on the back of one of the strongest album rollouts of Asake’s career. M$NEY is his fourth studio album, framing wealth through spirituality and gratitude and weaving religious devotions, Yoruba proverbs and divine supplications across a sonic palette that draws from fújì, amapiano, and jazz.

The project also makes him the first African artist to have five different projects reach number one on the UK Apple Music chart. It is also his first release under Giran Republic, the imprint he built after parting ways with Olamide’s YBNL Nation in early 2025.

The inclusion of Uncle Waffles adds a significant dimension to the live experience. Asake said of the pairing: “For some of the North American shows, I’ll be joined by special guest Uncle Waffles, who adds another layer of energy and culture to the shows.” Uncle Waffles responded: “There’s a mutual respect between me and Asake because we both understand what it takes to bring our sounds to international stages.”

Asake described the broader vision for the tour as a live extension of what M$NEY to life. It’s a reflection of everything the album represents, from gratitude to growth. I look forward to taking this experience across the globe.”

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster, with artist presales having opened on May 27 and general on-sale from May 29.
